GEORGE F. WILL: The Face of IRS Behavior
What’s been said of confession — that it is good for one’s soul but bad for one’s reputation — can also be true of testifying to Congress, so Lois Lerner has chosen to stay silent.
Hers, however, is an eloquent silence.
The most intrusive and potentially most punitive federal agency has been politicized; the IRS has become an appendage of Barack Obama’s party. Furthermore, congruent with exhortations from some congressional Democrats, it is intensifying its efforts to suffocate groups critical of progressives, by delaying what once was the swift, routine granting of tax-exempt status. Author: The Economic Collapse Blog
Why is the economy going to collapse? Have you ever been asked that question? If so, what did you say? Sometimes it is difficult to communicate dozens of complicated economic and financial concepts in a package that the average person on the street can easily digest. It can be very frustrating to know that something is true but not be able to explain it clearly to someone else. Hopefully many of you out there will find the list below useful. It is a list of 70 numbers that show why we are headed for a national economic nightmare. Continue reading →

After you read this how could you vote for this guy?
This is the full list of 1001 Reasons to Vote Against Barack Obama:
The man started his presidency off with a bang by botching his oath of office.
For good measure, he set the tone for his administration for allowing Chief Justice John Roberts to take the blame for the error.
Obama promises on the campaign trail to immediately shut down Guantanamo Bay. The detention facility is open three years later and counting.
In the same breath, he promises to restore habeas corpus. Three years into his term, he signs the National Defense Authorization Act, which leaves open the possibility of indefinite detention of American citizens.
President Obama ordered the assassination of an American citizen. Continue reading →
You know these kinds of people. People who can’t admit that they have to stop doing something, even thought they know its wrong to keep doing what they do. Spend money they don’t have, stealing money from people who earn it and giving it to people who don’t. Blaming others for their own problems, never taking responsibility for their own problems, if only we could tax and spend more. You would think that elected officials would behave like adults, but power corrupts, they want to stay in power and the only way they can is to send money back to their constituents and say, “look what a good job I’m doing for you.” Please remember this when you vote. — Mr. TakeDown
How the Debt Addicts are Blaming the Victims
by Wayne Allyn Root
Can you even imagine blaming a rape victim for being raped, or a terrorist victim for being murdered by terrorists? Of course not. In a sane world, it is the rapist and terrorist that is blamed for the crime, not the victim. But amazingly, this is exactly what Obama and his socialist cabal are now doing in the midst of the debt ceiling crisis- blaming the victims. Continue reading →
This article explains in great detail, with simple numbers, the spending in Washington. If you spend more money then you take in, you go broke. It will all be on you the taxpayer, to bail the US out, that is if any of us have a job. This is pure madness. I really don’t think our representatives care about the country and the regular old middle class average Joe taxpayer. They don’t seem to represent my interests, I don’t have the kind of money it takes to any influence anything. Continue reading →
This came to me through a email thread. I don’t know who the author is except I’ve been told it was written by a LA school teacher who has begun to understand that public education has become a failure, just another wasteful and inefficient public program. Even the teachers are beginning to get it. Although LA has been like this for a long time.
Here is the email:
From a California school teacher – – –
As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of:
I am in charge of the English-as-a-Second-Language Department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic and income levels
Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park, etc. where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools.
Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program. When I say free breakfast, I’m not talking a glass of milk and roll — but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten.

The United States is rapidly becoming the very first “post-industrial” nation on the globe. All great economic empires eventually become fat and lazy and squander the great wealth that their forefathers have left them, but the pace at which America is accomplishing this is absolutely amazing. It was America that was at the forefront of the industrial revolution. It was America that showed the world how to mass produce everything from automobiles to televisions to airplanes. It was the great American manufacturing base that crushed Germany and Japan in World War II. Continue reading →
